How to Locate Bounties
Here’s how to find the game’s new Bounty location:
- Open the Director main menu. It is the menu from which you can access the Store, Map, and Quests.
- Select the “Quests” tab.
You can sort the Quests tab by rarity or newness to make it easier to find Exotic quests or keep track of new challenges. However, there is no way to sort by quest type.
Additional Frequently Asked Questions
Bounties in the game are priced differently.
Basic Bounties cost 250 Glimmer and can be purchased up to five times per day. Weekly Bounties, on the other hand, cost 1,000 Glimmer. Some NPCs in the game also provide daily Bounties for 3,000 Glimmer. These Bounties are repetitive, but they are an excellent way to farm resources.
The duration of Bounties in Destiny 2 is determined by their type. As a result, daily Bounties expire one day and three hours after purchase. Weekly Bounties, unsurprisingly, last longer and expire seven days after purchase.
Each NPC sells Bounties that can be completed in a specific game mode or map location. Daily Bounties can be purchased from the following NPCs in the game:
Vanguard Mode Bounties are sold by Commander Zavala.
Lord Shaxx is a vendor who sells The Crucible Mode Bounties.
Suraya Hawkthorne sells PvE or PvP Mode Bounties for Clan XP.
Gambit Mode Bounties are sold by The Drifter.
Ada-1 is a vendor of Black Armory Bounties. Look for her in The Tower.
Tangled Shore planet Bounties are sold by The Spider.
Brother Vance is a merchant who sells Mercury planet Bounties.
Asher Mir is the seller of Lo planet Bounties.
Ana Bray is a seller of Mars planet Bounties.
Sloane is a Titan planet bounty seller.
Devrim Kay is a vendor of European Dead Zone planet Bounties.
Werner-99 is a merchant who sells Nessus planet Bounties.
Failsafe – offers Nessus planet Bounties for sale.
Dreaming City Bounties are sold by Petra Venj.
Moon Bounties are sold by Eris Morn.
The reward for completing a Bounty is determined by the type of Bounty. Almost always, you’ll get a lot of XP as well as tokens, Glimmer, equipment, or crafting materials.
You do not need to return to the NPC who gave you the Bounty to receive your reward. Instead, go to the Quests tab and select the Bounty with an exclamation mark. The reward will be added to your Inventory automatically.
It’s worth knowing when the Bounties reset if you’re keeping track of new Bounties to advance in the game faster. Daily Bounties reset at 1 p.m. EST every day, and weekly Bounties reset every Tuesday.
Bounties in Destiny 2 differ in terms of the tasks required and the rewards available. Vanguard Bounties from Commander Zavala, for example, typically involve Patrols, Strikes, Raids, and Story Missions. Upon completion, you will gain Vanguard reputation and experience, as well as Dead Orbit or New Monarchy reputation.
Crucible Bounties, on the other hand, are usually awarded with Crucible reputation and experience, as well as either Dead Orbit, Future Wall Cult, or New Monarchy reputation.
To receive the reputation boost, you must be equipped with items from the respective classes while completing the Bounty. You can obtain a high-level item after completing Lord Shaxx’s weekly Bounty.
Bounties awarded on planets grant you reputation on that planet as well as crafting materials from that planet. Bounties in the Sparrow Racing League (SRL) are only available during special events. They can, however, get you the best rewards, such as legendary gear.
Complete Bounties to Earn Rewards

While the new Bounty location may be confusing at first, it is actually quite convenient. The Director menu is easily accessible, and the automatic rewards can save you a significant amount of time that you would otherwise spend running to NPCs and back.
