This guide has a full list of all the tasks and rewards you can do for the Teddiursa Community Day Special Research in Pokemon GO.

The Pokemon GO Teddiursa Community Day will take place on Saturday, November 12 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Fans who are willing to spend $1 on an event ticket will gain access to the event-exclusive Sweet Snacks Special Research story. Players can participate in this community day without spending any real-world money. • Strengthen Pokemon 10 Times (15x Poke Ball)
• Catch 15 Teddiursa (Teddiursa Encounter)
• Create 5 Elegant Throws (20x Teddiursa Candy)
  Reward for Completion of Step 1: 2,000 Stardust, Encounter with Teddiursa, 1x Star Piece

Step 2

• Catch 15 Teddiursa (30x Teddiursa Candy)
• Transfer 10 Pokémon (Encounter with Ursaring) – Evolve 3 Teddiursa (10x Pinap Berry)
  Step 2 Completion Rewards: 1,500 XP, an Encounter with Teddiursa, and 1 Incense

Step 3: Make three excellent curveball throws (50x Teddiursa Candy)

• Evolve 1 Ursaring (1x Lucky Egg)
• Transfer 10 Pokemon (15x Great Ball)

Step Three Completion Rewards: 2,500 Experience Points, 1x Rocket Radar, and 15x Ultra Ball

Step 4 – Claim Reward (2x Silver Pinap Berry)

• Claim Reward (Encounter with Teddiursa) – Claim Reward (3,500 XP)
  Step Four Completion Rewards: 3,000 Stardust, Ursaluna Encounter, and three Rare Candies

Players who purchase an Event Ticket are not required to conduct the Sweet Snacks Special Research during the event, but it is strongly encouraged. There are two primary reasons for this recommendation, the first of which is that Teddiursa’s spawn rate will be increased for the duration of the event, making it much easier to capture the Pokémon in abundance. The second reason is that the PoGO Teddiursa Community Day will occur during a full moon, which is a requirement for evolving Ursaring.

Therefore, Pokemon GO players who fail to complete the Sweet Snacks Special Research during the Community Day or within 13 hours of its conclusion will be stuck on Step 3 until the next full moon occurs. It is currently unknown when this will occur, and it may be some time before players have another chance to evolve an Ursaring. In addition, an Ursaring that evolves outside of the Community Day will not produce an Ursaluna with the ability High Horsepower Charged Attack, as the ability is tied to the event.
