God of War Ragnarok has the most nominations for The Game Awards, with ten.

God of War Ragnarok and Elden Ring are among the six titles competing for the Game of the Year award.

All nominees for the upcoming ninth installment of The Game Awards have been announced. God of War Ragnarok, one of the most anticipated games of the year, leads the game industry with ten nominations in various categories.

The “Oscars” of the video game industry is preparing to honor the most popular games of 2022. The following nominees for the Game of the Year award have been identified:

Elden Ring (Bandai Namco / FromSoftware)
God of War: Ragnarok (Sony Santa Monica / SIE) is a video game.
Horizon Forbidden West (Guerrilla Games / SIE)
Stray was developed by BlueTwelve Studio and published by Annapurna Interactive.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3, developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo.
Sony has been determined to have received the most nominations. The Japanese video game industry titan has received twenty nominations for its games. Nintendo and Annapurna Interactive received 11 awards, followed by Bandai Namco (8) and Riot Games (6). The nominees were selected by an international jury comprised of over one hundred media publications and influential outlets, according to The Game Awards.

The nominees for the award for Best Mobile Game of the Year come from the mobile gaming industry. MiHoYo’s Genshin Impact was the award-winning horse in 2021, and the team hopes to repeat in 2022. Nominees include:

Tower of Fantasy was created by Hotta Studio, Perfect World, and Level Infinite.
The most recent iteration of The Game Awards introduces new categories, such as Best Adaptation, which brings to light works inspired by video games. Fans will now be able to watch the show on official Discord servers, which is a technical advancement.

The platform will host interactive games and exclusive events, as well as allow users to vote on their preferred games. Tickets for The Game Awards, which will be held at the Microsoft Theater on December 8th, were made available in early November.
