Two skilled Minecraft builders make an ice boat racecourse with colorful mushrooms that looks like Mushroom Gorge from Mario Kart Wii.

The Mario Kart series has been around for a long time and has become one of Nintendo’s best-selling franchises during that time. Because the Mario Kart series has a lot of games, there are a lot of courses to choose from. Two gamers recently decided to make one of these classic tracks in another popular game called Minecraft.

A Reddit user identified as ScurrMinatorYT uploaded a video of a recent Mario Kart-inspired creation they had made in Minecraft. They had decided to recreate the Mushroom Gorge course from Mario Kart Wii. With the assistance of a friend, Dizzylake, the Reddit user was able to recreate the entire classic track in Minecraft, and the results were impressive.

ScurrMinatorYT gave gamers a tour of their recreation of Mushroom Gorge from Mario Kart Wii in a one-minute-five-second video. The Reddit user and their friend, Dizzylake, had captured many of the elements that had made the original track famous. Numerous colossal mushrooms sprouting throughout the course were among the highlights. In addition to these mushrooms, the video revealed that the players had successfully recreated the large cave seen on the racetrack, complete with colorful blocks. In addition, ScurrMinatorYT revealed that their recreation of Mushroom Gorge could be used for actual ice boat races in Minecraft because the ice has been retextured to resemble a dirt road.

Since posting this astonishing recreation of Mushroom Gorge on Reddit, numerous members of the Minecraft community have taken notice. Several thousand upvotes have already been awarded to the post on the platform. Among the comments, numerous gamers praised the builders’ diligence, with one remarking that it must have taken a considerable amount of time to complete the project. Additionally, ScurrMinatorYT provided a download code for the course for those who wished to evaluate it. However, they noted that it was only compatible with Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

Interestingly, this is not the only piece of recent Mushroom Gorge-related news. Mushroom Gorge, a playable ice boat racetrack in Minecraft, has recently been added to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. As part of the second wave of Booster Course Pass DLC, this course was bundled with seven others from previous Mario Kart games.

Even though ScurrMinatorYT and Dizzylake’s recreation of Mushroom Gorge is amazing, it’s not the only Mario Kart track that’s been made in Minecraft. A few months ago, another skilled gamer designed Coconut Mall, a classic Mario Kart Wii track featuring escalators and palm trees. It will be interesting to see if people like ScurrMinatorYT decide to make more Mario Kart Wii courses or courses for other racing games.
