The popular plush series Squishmallow has added Pokemon versions to its lineup, which are now available for franchise fans to purchase online.

Squishmallows, a popular plush manufacturer, has collaborated with Pokemon to release two new plush, which are now available. Consider it the new TY Beanie Babe, but in a different form, for those who are familiar with this particular brand. Squishmallows debuted in 2017 with over a thousand characters with names and backstories identical to Beanie Babies. The brand has also collaborated with other well-known entities, such as Disney, to enhance its already impressive roster. However, their Pokemon line will provide franchise fans with something new and adorable to display and collect.
Some Squishmallows are so rare that they can be worth significantly more than what they were originally sold for, and eager collectors are willing to pay substantial sums for them. Unique characteristics of these stuffed animals are their round shape and unusual designs. Pokemon plushies have existed for a long time, and The Pokemon Center’s website offers the largest selection. This new Pokemon collaboration was announced in July, and fans appear to be enthusiastic about it.
The newest Pokemon Squishmallows, which feature series favorites Pikachu and Gengar, have finally arrived. Each of these can be purchased on the official Pokemon Center website for approximately $25. Each 12-inch figure of a given character is limited to one per person. This effort by Pokemon could aid in preventing scalping. This was most recently observed with Pokemon cards. Last year, scalpers purchased Pokemon Happy Meals, preventing fans from acquiring the exclusive cards. For the time being, it appears that Pokemon and Squishmallows are preventing resellers from purchasing the adorable plush characters.

In addition to Pikachu and Gengar, it was revealed that Snorlax would be available in a second series the following year. Possibly, additional fan-favorite Pokemon will be available in Squishmallow form in the future. Prior to this most recent collaboration, Build-A-Bear and Pokemon had a longstanding relationship, making it the go-to destination for Pokemon plush. Collectors of both franchises are likely to benefit from capitalizing on the popularity of both the Squishmallow brand and Pokemon.
With the recent release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, it is possible that Squishmallows will release merchandise based on newer Pokemon in the future. It should be a welcome distraction for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s debut fans who are less than enthusiastic. A fan, for instance, compiled a video of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s funniest bugs for other players to enjoy. Whatever the future holds for this new Squishmallows Pokemon line, fans should act quickly if they want to get their hands on them, as they are already selling out quickly.
