Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon Releases August 22 on HBO MAX

Finally, a premiere date for House of the Dragon has been announced. The prequel will be available to view beginning on August 22, 2022. House of the Dragon is an adaptation of “Fire and Blood” by George R. R. Martin. The series is set two hundred years prior to the events of Game of Thrones and is based on the history of House Targaryen.

Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Seve Best, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans star in House of the Dragon. Paddy Considine portrays Viserys Targaryen in “Game of Thrones.” The rulers of Westeros selected him to replace Jaehaerys Targaryen with the Great Council of Harrenhal.

Viserys, a warm, polite, and courteous man, hopes to continue his grandfather’s legacy. But good guys don’t always make great kings.

Prince Daemon Targaryen, the younger brother and heir to King Viserys, is portrayed by Matt Smith. Satan is a warrior and dragon rider descended from an unadulterated dragon. However, according to an old proverb, when a Targaryen is born, the gods toss a coin.

Olivia Cooke appears as Alicent Hightower, the most beautiful woman in the Seven Kingdoms and daughter of Otto Hightower, Hand of the king. He grew up close to the king and his court in the Red Tower. She is elegant, well-mannered, and knowledgeable about political affairs. Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, the king’s eldest daughter, is portrayed by Emma D’Arcy. He possesses pure Valyrian blood and rides dragons. Many claim Rhaenyra was born with everything, but she is not male.
