Big games like Pragmata and Street Fighter 6 from Capcom and two Final Fantasy games from Square Enix will come out next year.

This has been a good year for video games, and gamers have enjoyed blockbuster games like Elden Ring, Horizon: Forbidden West, and The Last of Us Part 1. God of War Ragnarok, Need for Speed Unbound, and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are all big games that are still coming out this year. Things won’t slow down in 2023, and several games that people are very excited about have already been announced.

For the first quarter of the year, games like Hogwarts Legacy and Forspoken are coming out. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom comes out in the middle of the year, and Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth comes out at the end of the year. Even though the schedule looks good, gamers should remember that delays are common in the gaming world, so it’s not a good idea to commit to a release date so far in advance.
The Most Important Games Coming in 2023
Due in part to the many delays of 2022, it looks like next year will be very busy. It also looks like a lot of great music from different studios is coming out early in the year. No matter what kind of games people like or what kind of platform they use, there will be something new for everyone from the start. Street Fighter 6 is a game that Capcom hopes will make a big splash in 2023. The game brings the “street” back into Street Fighter by using hip-hop and urban elements in its settings and character designs. In the game, old favorites like Chun-Li and Ryu will be back, along with new characters like Kimberly. It comes out on PC and next-gen consoles in 2023. It’s not the only fighting game coming out in 2023. Tekken 8 from Bandai Namco is also on the way.
Starfield, a game that gamers have been waiting for, is coming from Bethesda. After the terrible Colony War, the sci-fi game will take players to the Settled Systems, where different groups are living in an uneasy peace. It will be up to the players to choose where to go, who to help, and how their story will go. When it comes out in the first half of 2023, the open-world game will be Bethesda’s first new IP in more than 25 years. Fans of science fiction who don’t like Starfield can also check out Deliver Us Mars. The game was made by KeokeN Interactive and is the follow-up to 2018’s Deliver Us the Moon. If it’s anything like its predecessor, it will be a game with a lot of atmosphere, puzzles, and a story that you can’t stop following.
Fans of Final Fantasy will also have an epic year, since two games are planned. First is Final Fantasy 16. It takes place on the continent of Valisthea, where six groups are at odds over a strange mist called the Blight. Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth will be the last game of the year. It is the second part of the Final Fantasy 7 remake. Square Enix is also working on a game called Forspoken, which is an open-world game set in the magical country of Athia. Frey Holland, who is the main character, must use her new abilities to defeat the evil Tantas and find her way back home. The game came out on PC and PS5 on January 24.
The Hogwarts Legacy game from Avalanche Software is one of the games that people are most looking forward to in 2019. Players will go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and be able to join as fifth-year students. Players can look around the castle, go to classes, tame magical creatures, and make friends with other students. Trailers have also shown that there will be dark magic, but it’s still not clear if players will be on the side of good or if they will have the option to use dark magic. Hogwarts Legacy will come out on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox on February 10.
The remaining AAA games will be released in 2023.
