The locations of all Colosseums in Elden Ring, as well as their PVP modes.
The locations of the Elden Ring Colosseum are, in that order, the northern coast of Limgrave, the northern peninsula of Caelid, and the southern cliffs of Leyndell. The Colosseums, which were initially inaccessible, have been revealed as the setting for the new Elden Ring PVP mode, with players now able to enter them and engage in duels and battles with other online players. Before the Elden Ring Colosseum release, we’ll show you where to find all the Colosseums in Elden Ring, the PVP multiplayer modes they offer, and how to reach the more inaccessible ones.
Elden Ring’s Colosseums and their PVP modes
There are currently three Colosseums in Elden Ring. They are in North Limgrave, North Caelid, and on the southern side of Leyndell, the Royal Capital. Depending on your current game status, you may not be able to access all of these Colosseums, but we’ll explain how to do so below. As each Colosseum offers a unique multiplayer experience, we’ve also discussed what you can find in each one.
The Limgrave Colosseum is located on the northern coast of Limgrave. From the Warmaster’s Shack Site of Grace, travel north under the bridge to the first of the Elden Ring Divine Tower locations. You will see the Colosseum in front of you. You can play two-team, timed battles with active respawn here, where the player with the most kills at the end of the battle wins. Combat Ordeal is another option: timed free-for-all battles with active respawn.
Leyndell Royal Colosseum: To reach Leyndell, you’ll likely need to know how to defeat the Draconic Tree Sentinel in Elden Ring. Once you’ve gained access to the Capital City, your route to the Colosseum will depend on how far you’ve progressed in the game’s story, as a late-game event drastically alters the terrain. If you’re early in the game, descend to street level and then ascend to the West Capital Rampart Site of Grace via tree roots and stairs. However, if you’ve figured out how to defeat Maliketh in Elden Ring and defeated him at Crumbling Farum Azula, it’s much easier – simply use the altered terrain to ascend the slope and follow the terrain around to the Colosseum itself. Here, the only option is Duel Mode, which is a 1v1 battle between two players with no respawns; the winner is determined solely by who dies first.
Caelid Colosseum: From the Deep Siofra Well, ascend to the surface and continue north through the canyon, passing by the giant archer golems. You will eventually reach the coast, where you will find the Great-Jar NPC in front of the Colosseum. All gameplay modes listed above can be played at Caelid, with one exception: Ashes can be used for Elden Ring Summons at Caelid, which is not possible at other Colosseums.

Accessing the Colosseum’s Arenas
When you reach any of the three Colosseums in Elden Ring, you can now open the large doors and enter the chambers within. You must be summoned into an arena in order to gain access to the arena.
You can enter Colosseum Combat by interacting with the large Statue of Marika in each Colosseum chamber. This will bring up a menu for the specific location, allowing you to select the available parameters, such as the number of players you wish to fight with/against and whether or not you wish to create a password so that only your friends can join.
A new Marika Effigy will reappear in the Roundtable Hold after interacting with at least one Colosseum. You will then be able to interact with this statue near the fireplace in order to access the Colosseum options for any previously visited location.
Colosseum Tips and Tricks You Need to know
Do you need some advice before diving into the new PvP modes? A few things to keep in mind as you face off against friends and foes in each of the new arenas.
Since you can continually respawn in team battles and free-for-alls, you can sometimes afford to be a bit more reckless if it results in a kill. You will not improve your overall score by diving headfirst and repeatedly dying, so at least try to make it worthwhile.
When you respawn, you will automatically attack any nearby enemies, so you need not worry about being camped. This also means that if you see someone respawning next to you, you must quickly give them space or risk being knocked off your feet.
Note that the winner is determined solely by the total number of kills at the conclusion of the match. The only thing that matters is who scores the killing blow, so don’t be afraid to seize opportunities! Swap your targets to determine who is low on health or otherwise preoccupied, and then attempt to ambush them before their opponent can score.
With the proper spells and abilities, chaos can reign in large free-for-all battles. Large, flashy destruction skills that would otherwise be easy to dodge catch many foes off guard if they don’t see you coming, so try to get behind a group and attack from their blind spots with large splash damage.
Similarly, when fighting in a large battle, try to keep as many of your opponents in your line of sight as possible; stick to the outer edges and look inwards to determine where everyone else is; if someone is missing, they may be preparing an attack from behind. Utilize lock on to switch targets or sweep the camera around when disabling targeting to conduct a quick inspection.
While it’s tempting to use the same Spirit Ashes you’ve used for every boss (Looking at you, Mimic Tear and Black Knife Tiche), don’t be afraid to experiment with enemies that may be more difficult for humans than AI bosses. If you have enough Glovewort to rank up a few, try summoning spirits that can throw your opponents off balance, such as the horde of Greatshield Soldiers, a Man-Serpent, or even rats! More disorder often causes your human opponent to panic, allowing you to finish them off.
Duels is a very specific mode that prohibits the use of your healing flask, but they make no mention of your Flask of Wondrous Physick or spell heals. If possible, utilize every advantage you possess to achieve victory.
